I didn't know how much a pre-shave lotion would help until I tried this. I can only shave every other day: my beard just doesn't grow that fast, and my skin is easily irritated.
You know that burn you get from washing your face the day after you shave (or I get, anyway)? This cream sooooooths that burn. And, it seems to cause the skin to pull down away from the whiskers, making said whiskers easier to shave. I've had the best shaves of my life since I have started using this regularly, and I doubt that it's a coincidence.

I use this during the rare occasion that I shave my legs. Sure, I'm furry, but from time to time I like to be as smooth as silk. Proraso gives me the smoothest, cleanest, nick-free shave of any product I've used. Start with a nice sugar scrub (you can use table sugar, you know!), shave, and follow up with some cocoa butter. Bliss!

I never really felt a need for it before, never did much for me. But this stuff is awesome. Really cools your face before and after the shave. I'll probably never buy another type again. And you don't need too much. This stuff really lasts long.

I got this to try as a Pre-Shave & found out this really softens the whiskers, has a great cooling effect, & one jar lasts a very long time. You can also use this after shaving for any skin irritation or just as an aftershave. Rinse your face with very cold water for a tremendous cooling sensation after shaving!
